Self care is very important if you want to have a better life and lose weight.

 

There are two ways to self care, internal and external.

 

Internal self care is how you treat yourself.

 

That internal voice that only you can hear and sometimes is very rude and you beat yourself up after overeating or just by looking yourself in the mirror... you know what I'm talking about.

 

This is NOT self care.

 

Internal self care is being kind to yourself, treat yourself better than anyone else in the world, even when you overeat, look yourself in the mirror, or do something that you know you are not supposed to do.

 

What you are supposed to do is to be kind and commit to it.

So, commit to kindness. (this is the magic sauce for weight loss)

 

External self care is taking the time to take care of yourself.

 

Go out for a walk, have your hair done, manicure and pedicure, a massage, a coffee with a friend, and the list goes on...

 

Do things that you enjoy!

 

PS: Allow yourself to eat anything and everything is NOT self care.

 

Practice self care everyday, be kind and love yourself the way you are now.
