I used to be where you are


Let me tell you about my experience. I'm going to share a little bit about my weight struggle over the years.

I was never a heavy girl, actually I was very skinny until I had my first heart breaking experience when I was 19. After that everything changed. 

I started using food to numb the pain and all negative emotions I was feeling and that made me pile on kilos, 26kg to be exact. After few years I was diagnosed with insulin resistance at age 23. I was overweight, unhappy with my body and life. Emotional eating has become a big problem for me.

It took me few years to realise and accept that I was an emotional eater. 

I tried to ignore it.

I put myself on so many restricted diets and so much deprivation.

I lost weight. But couldn't keep it off for long, average time was 4 months.

Soon enough, I was emotional eating and disconnecting from my own body again, and the weight came back with extra kilos every time.

For over 10 years I was stuck in this emotional cycle of eating and dieting that I had no idea how to get out of

Then I decided to study nutrition, so I could help myself, and others going through the same weight and health issues as I was. I completely reverted my insulin resistance with nutrition and exercise and I learned how the body works.

Today, I'm a Nutritional Therapist and I help many people change the way they eat, lose weight and achieve optimum health, which I'm grateful for this every day.

The missing piece of the puzzle

I always thought that I was missing a piece of the puzzle to completely figure out a way to lose weight and keep it off for good.

It's not all about nutrition and exercise when it comes to weight loss, it's much more than that... it's about the mindset.

Then I found coaching and things started to make much more sense 

Coaching is AMAZING! I learned exactly what I needed to finally end my struggle. I learned how to take control of myself around food, how to manage my emotions and urges to overeat, how to have my ideal eating habits, and how to manage my weight.

I never looked back. 

I’m no longer using food to deal with my emotions, I’m not afraid of eating too much, and I never worry about my weight, even if I put on a few kilos.
